Sharjah’s natural advantages
Located on the northern coast of the Arabian Peninsula, Sharjah, with an area of more than 2,600 square kilometers, is the third largest city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), one of the uae’s member states, and the closest emirate to Dubai. Sharjah is the commercial hub of the UAE, with a more diversified economy than the rest of the country, and of all its member states, it is the only emirate with ports on both the east and west coasts. Sharjah’s unique geographical location is more conducive to multimodal transport, and the flexible combination of air and sea freight ecology can reduce freight rates and shorten freight times, benefiting traders and manufacturers.
